By accessing or using The Ngili Calendar ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. The Service is provided by Safari Softwares ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Kenya. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Safari Softwares.
The Ngili Calendar is a browser-based income and expense tracking tool for workers, small business owners, and self-employed individuals. It operates entirely within your browser using local storage. No account creation or personal data submission is required for basic usage.
Free Tier: Basic income tracking with Wages, Bus Fare, Lunch, and Custom modes. Limited to 5 undo states, 3 note presets, and single currency (KES).
Premium Tier: Business Mode with up to 8 income sources, unlimited undo, unlimited note presets, multi-currency support, extended reports, and usage on up to 3 devices. Requires a valid Subscription ID and Password.
You agree that: (a) You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all data entered. (b) You will regularly back up data using CSV Export. We are not responsible for data loss. (c) You will not use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes. (d) This tool is NOT a replacement for professional accounting software or financial advice. (e) You will not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code.
Premium access requires payment of KSh 1,000 per year via M-Pesa or authorized methods. Upon verification, an Administrator issues a unique Subscription ID and Password granting access on up to 3 devices for 365 days. Subscriptions are non-transferable. Sharing credentials may result in immediate deactivation without refund. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
The Ngili Calendar, including its name, logo, design, source code, and all materials, is the exclusive intellectual property of Safari Softwares. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFARI SOFTWARES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES arising from use or inability to use the Service, data loss, financial losses, errors, or service interruptions. Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safari Softwares from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access at our sole discretion for conduct that violates these Terms. Premium subscriptions may be deactivated without refund if termination is due to Terms violation.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, then mediation in Nairobi, before resorting to litigation in Kenyan courts.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

At Safari Softwares, your privacy is the foundation of how we build software. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any of your personal data.
The Ngili Calendar uses a zero-data-collection architecture: ❌ No personal information ❌ No usage analytics ❌ No cookies ❌ No accounts ❌ No servers ❌ No advertising ❌ No third-party integrations. All processing happens in your browser.
All information is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. Your data never leaves your device. No one at Safari Softwares can view, access, or retrieve your data. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete all stored information. Premium subscription credentials are verified locally.
Since we do not collect or have access to your data, we cannot and do not: use, sell, rent, trade, analyze, or share your data with any third party, government agency, or law enforcement.
WhatsApp Sharing opens your device's WhatsApp — content is only shared when you explicitly send it. CSV Export creates a file you control. Reviews are stored in localStorage only. M-Pesa confirmation is between you and Safari Softwares through those platforms.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
localStorage data is accessible to JavaScript on the same domain. Keep your browser updated. localStorage has no built-in encryption — secure your device with passwords or biometric locks. Export CSV regularly for backups. Do not share your Subscription credentials.
The Service does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, cloud storage, or social media platforms (except WhatsApp which you explicitly open).
Under applicable data protection laws (including Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 and GDPR), you have rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Since all data resides on your device, these rights are inherently protected through the Service interface and CSV Export.
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted within the Service with an updated effective date.
